Stay at Home Moms

Wahm?

Do any of you work from home? My lo is almost 5 months, and as the school year comes to a close I'm thinking more and more that I can't go back. I hate leaving him, and it hasn't gotten any easier in a month and a half. I just feel like my place is at home with him. I'm sure we'll be okay with just dh's income, but he's stressing at the thought. I was just wondering if any of you had any ideas of how I could supplement our income.

  • I work from home.  I'm a CPA and I do some contract work for a local CPA firm in my hometown.  I also do some book-keeping (in Quickbooks) for a couple of small businesses.

You don't have to be a CPA to do book-keeping.  Quickbooks is very user friendly and most small business owners just don't want to fool with it.  That could be something you could easily do from home.  Hardest part is building a client base.
