Amazon Mom - Subscribe and Save diapers

Do you feel like once you signed up for the subscribe and save, the diaper prices have gone up?   I just checked on my next order, and the diaper prices for the box I normally get is $5 more!  I think this is more expensive (per diaper) than when I get them at Target with coupons.  When I signed up, it was cheaper (per diaper) on Amazon Mom S&S, so I thought it would be easy and I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.  I guess not!  Keep checking your regular shipments for price changes, ladies.

Re: Amazon Mom - Subscribe and Save diapers

  • I haven't bought in a few weeks...maybe over a month, but I read on babycheapskate that prices on diapers in general are going up.

Plus, I can't find anymore freaking coupons to add.

boo hiss!  I guess I'll have to check the Target price - maybe they have gone up as well.

ETA:  ok - just checked Target online, and yes, they have gone up in price as well.  I guess I'm still getting a better deal at Amazon.

  • I price shopped in store at Target today and they were the same as Amazon for a box of Huggies Little Movers Size 3 (box of 80) so cheaper when you add in coupons on Target, but more expensive if you factor in tax, but then I used my red card and got 5% off and a $5 GC back.
  • I always cancel my subscriptions after I get the diapers and shop around next time I need them.

This.  I have not paid more than .17 per diaper, but I've only bought Pampers Swaddlers (sizes N through 4).  Walgreens had an awesome deal last week and has one on Huggies this week.

  • While I enjoy the process of shopping at Target, the convenience of having them come to my door before I going "oh crap! i am out of diapers" is totally worth amazon for a couple dollars more. Plus, I count on my monthly diaper allocation to pay for my 2 day shipping on everything else I buy (which is plenty!).

Ditto! Even if it's a couple dollars more, it's one less stop on the way home and 10 minutes more I can spend with DD!

I have not seen any coupons either.  Now I have not bought any either in over two months because I was stocked up thanks to the coupons and I'm down to my last box.

There were a ton last month.  I think they do it on a rolling basis to get you to stock up when there are coupons.

Sometimes, if they are having a special deal.  Like using manufacturer coupons & getting a free Target GC if you buy 2 boxes of diapers.

Y'all should just check www.babycheapskate.com for top diaper deals any time you need to buy.  She lists the price per diaper at different online and brick & mortar stores so you can compare quickly and then decide where to buy from.
