OMG...work is insane. (Vent)

Today two people called out of work, we have one girl that's scheduled off today, and we don't have a supervisor.  Everyone expects me to do everything for everybody these days and I'm getting annoyed.  They wouldn't let me apply for the supervisor position, but expect me to do all the work until our new one gets here.  Isn't that just peachy?  Someone please say a prayer for me that my head doesn't explode today!  Thanks for letting me vent for a while!

    That's ridiculous! I'm so sorry. Maybe if you can make it through today, you can ask for a raise tomorrow? Or demand someone notice how much work you're doing and either help you out or compensate you! T&P's that your head stays in tact. Big Smile

    Why wouldn't they let you apply for the position?  Can they actually stop you from applying?
