Postpartum Body= FREEZING?

Why can't my body maintain any heat? Before I was pregnant, I was notoriously cold, but this is downright ridiculous. Is anyone else experiencing this?

For the first month or so I had wild temperature swings- freezing one minute, then waking up in a pool of sweat.

I've always been cold all the time, but I think it's gotten worse. I wear sweatshirts and jeans, and my poor husband is walking around in shorts and t-shirts. Sweating.

For the first month I slept in sweat pants and a sweatshirt and was still cold. It is starting to get better now though.

I have been really hot all the time, ac on in the car while my mom was wearing a coat. But now I am starting to get cold again.

I had such issues with this while I was still bfing - I'd be sweating buckets with LO on me but as soon as I put him in his bassinet I'd start shivering uncontrollably, with the most painful nip-ons ever (I was literally in tears one night)!!! MIddle of the night I'd wake up literally dripping sweat. It was a constant struggle to find a happy medium. I'm glad to say, I'm nearly back to normal, sweating when it's actually hot, shivering when it's cold, as confirmed by dh!!
