Seriously --- if I pump 4 ounces, only 1 comes from the right. It doesn't get full ever either. If I could get that side to catch up my supply would be fine. As it is though, I am really struggling to make enough.
It's common to have one side produce more than the other. Do you nurse too, or do you EP? If you nurse, your LO gets more from your right than your pump gets out. If you EP, you can pump an extra 5-10 min on the right side each time you pump. I tried to even out my supply in the beginning, but didn't have any luck. Almost 15 months later, my right side still makes more than my left.

My right seems to have less most of the time (by about half an ounce if I start pumping on that side and get the good letdown with it). I usually nurse tho, and DD is never bothered by my pumping amount from it :-}
I am working on "teaching" my girls to BF. They don't seem to get it yet (preemies), so I am stuck EP. I am terrified that the longer they bottle feed the more difficult BF is going to be.
Have you seen an LC? Can you use a supplemental nursing system? That way you don't have to use bottles and they're on the breast, which is great stimulation for your supply. Hang in there!
