Magdalina

I was so happy when I saw your reply on the what size is LO wearing.  I am very surprised by DS I was expecting him to just be huge, he was a pretty big baby when he was born.  But he really didn't grow at all between month 2 and month 3 and I am anxiously awaiting his 4 month appt because I want them to tell me everything is ok.  However he doesn't seem small to me he still seems like he is a big baby but then I realize that still fitting in NB onesies is a little off.

I dunno I just wanted to share with you because it made me feel a little better when I saw your post.

Re: Magdalina

  • It helps so much seeing other people that have babies still in NB size clothes. I know that Lucas is healthy and thriving. He's gaining 4-6oz a week, I go to a breastfeeding support group and weigh him. When my dr was concerned it freaked me the eff out. So much so that my supply tanked until I realized the nurse wrote down the wrong weight. At that appt he was 8-11 and she wrote 8-2. It took him until about a month/month and a half to start gaining a decent amount of weight a week.

Lucas is the same way, to me he looks like a big boy. Parts of him look full like his face and torso, but he has no butt and barely any rolls on his arms and legs. I put a pair of 0-3 month pants on him, lifted him up and the pants slid right off.

My Dr isn't acting concerned which is bothering me.

I could say exactly the same about DS.
