I don't usually feel comfortable with my SIL and BIL watching Evan because they dont' have any exoerience with kids and don't know what they can and cannot do. For example, last time BIL was over he sat Evan on the sofa and started to walk off. He didn't realize that a 12-month-old might not know how to get off a sofa and would fall and probably get hurt.
Anyway, DH and I haven't had a date in about 8 months, so my SIL offered to babysit while we went to a movie. I wrote a detailed note of what to do, when to feed him, what he can and cannot touch in the house, a suggestion of play activities, etc. Everything went well and Evan played for a bit, ate a snack, and then took a nap. We weren't gone long, so I figured he would be okay.
When I got home DS was waking from his nap so I got him up and went to change his diaper. He had leaked out, which he never does at nap time, and was crying. When I got his shorts off I saw the diaper was on backwards. I started laughing so much DS started to giggle too. Then everyone came upstairs and wanted to see.
She must have really worked at it. I'm sure it was difficult to get the tabs around to his back. Did I mention they don't have experience with kids?

Re: SIL babysat over the weekend - only one minor (funny) issue
LOL! That's funny!!!
At least she put one ON him! My close friend had had no experience with kids but was pregnant with her first, so she wanted to sit for our LO (when we had just one)... similar story, but she forgot to put ANY diaper on my dd.
LOL, that must have been messy.
