Second pregancy... travel advice?

Our DS was born at 27w 4d. No real early warning signs except contractions about 1 week before. I have a business trip scheduled at 25weeks, and my doc says it should be ok because everything is "normal" with this pregnancy. But still I can't help but be a little nervous. I would rather not have the baby 1000 miles from home, by myself!

Should I go, based on what the doc says? Or not go just to be on the safe side?

If was me I would not go. I'm a worry wart and just thinking about being 1000 miles home without my family would scare me.

I would err on the side of caution. DD arrived at 25w2d, and I prematurely cancelled a business trip when DS would have been around the same gestation. I was already on bedrest as fate would have it, anyway, as I ended up dilated, again, and needing a rescue cerclage at around 22 weeks. My mental health couldn't have handled the trip, or the guilt, if something would have happened. I never regretted it.

I wouldn't go. I had my son at 26w3d while on a business trip. It's all fine now, but we had to live 5 hours away from home for 10 weeks. It S.U.C.K.E.D. I didn't have any signs of preterm labor, either, so there's no reason anyone would have told me not to travel. My pregnancy was going perfectly - right up until my baby showed up 14 weeks early.
