Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if this is part of morning sickness. For the past week, I've felt queasy and nothing sounds good to eat, but I haven't actually thrown up. This feeling lasts pretty much all day and even though I don't feel sick enough to stay in bed, it bothers me enough to make me not want to do anything - even things I typically enjoy! Anyone else?
The third time was the charm!

Re: Queasy but not throwing up?
i pretty much have felt the same way for a couple of weeks. queasy, hate food but no actually vomitting. i have heaved a few times but mostly just feeling queasy and light headed.
it sucks but i feel lucky to have not thrown up yet!
Yup. Mine started at 5 weeks and has stuck around ever since. I am queasy all day, gag, dry heave (I've had to stop on the side of the road a few times but all I ever do is dry heave), and nothing sounds good enough to eat. It is torture. I've only thrown up once.
With DD, I had all day vomiting for about 3 weeks and then it disappeared as quickly as it came on. I'm thinking that that was more manageable than 5+ weeks of all day nausea.

This is the story of my life. I've only thrown up once, but I am queasy all day everyday.
Yes, I have definitely experienced this. I have had on & off queasiness since my 6th/7th week and it tends to be worse at night, but I haven't thrown up at all. I don't know if it's because I don't tend to throw up a lot even when I am sick, or if the throwing up part is still on its way (I'm pretending it's the first...I hate throwing up!)

Ah yes - and from I've been told by my good friends - we are the lucky ones - no vomitting just constantly feeling like we would rather spew but never quite getting there. How this is better is really beyond me at times.
Mine started in week 5 and has only let up for a day here or there but for the most part - nothing tastes the way it should and having killer allergies this year is NOT helping at all.
Exactly. I've had occasional bouts of queasiness that are very uncomfortable and off-putting, but have yet to vomit.
My mother was the same way with both of her pregnancies. Let's just count yourselves lucky that we're not actually throwing up.
I have found that walking helps to ease any queasiness I have.

This is me too. I have yet to throw up and I'm super excited about
... I would say this all started about 5 wks into it for me. Where the thought of food would make my head spin... I would help DH cook (actually, mostly sit at our breakfast bar and watch) and it would smell great! Plate it up, take 2 bites and I was done. I must say that at week 11 it's getting better to eat... I only have that upset/queasy feeling around lunch time.
Like a previous poster said I find that fruit helps specifically oranges/apples.
