anyone practicing montessori at home?

I think my kiddo would love it, but I'm not sure where to start.

we toured a ton of places back in Texas and he loved every one of them. I figured I could pick up some stuff at home.

does anyone have book recs or a list of sorts of what to stock up on?

We approach some things at home as they do at DS' Montessori school, but we aren't strictly following it. I've read a few blogs and bookmarked a few books and read through all the handouts from his school. yes. I do. I have many, many resources which i am happy to share. pm me with your email and i'll shoot the pdf over to you. it's got more than montessori on it so it's many pages of links and book recs.

step one, though, is to prepare the environment for the appropriate stage of your LO.

this particular link is too young for you, but since you're starting from "Scratch" it's not a bad place to start - and it's what I'm gearing up to update our environment to:

What we focus on here is mostly Practical Life but as he gets older we'll integrate other aspects.

I am happy to answer questions if the list doesn't cover them for you - but I'm confident it's comprehensive.
