Another good OB appointment!

I went for my 29 week appointment this week and my OB asked when I'd like to schedule my "just in case" c-section. I scheduled it for 41 weeks 3 days which is the date I was comfortable with and he was more than supportive of letting me go over. He'd let me go to 42 weeks in fact but my help won't be here then so that's why I did 41 weeks 3 days.

It was funny because my OB was like "so I guess you're serious about VBACing since you want to go past your due date". I had been wiffle waffling for months so I don't think he believed I made up my mind until then.

I explained I had to try because I want 3-4 kids and the risks of that many c-sections are too great for me to justify. He totally agreed and said with that many kids he wouldn't feel comfortable doing c-sections either!

    Great news!  I'm already prematurely nervous to see how my OBs office is going to handle my wish to VBAC.  (even though they say they are supportive, I know it can sometimes be different when actually pregnant).
