I just scrolled through the fffc's and saw yours. That's a tough call, I'm sure. Does childrens have an orthopedic support group where maybe you'd be able to talk to other parents about how they handled kids in casts? Either way, you're in great hands with those dr's and they will make the best recommendations for Miss K. You've got lots of support from me!

    Thanks for the post!  That's a good idea, I hadn't even thought of that.  I found some online groups for hip dysplasia but really haven't found one that answers the questions I have.  In person might be what I need. 

    I'm learning to find a balance between trusting the doctors and trusting my gut.  I still wonder if I had spoken up earlier when K's brace ended up being adjusted incorrectly if we could have got it fixed faster.  But, I didn't even know what was wrong, just that something was.  Sigh.  I think the team we're seeing now is much more in sync.  I do think they are doing the right thing now, I'm just being selfish about the affect her cast would have on us at that age.

    Anyway, thank you for the post.  I appreciate the support!
