In the first book bill has a vampire named Bubba watch sookies house at night. They kept saying how when he made the switch over something went wrong. And it seems like they knew him by another name but was told not to repeat it. I'm not picking up on who the Bubba guy was before he was changed. And it's driving me nuts! What was this guy before he was bubba the vampire? HALP, it's driving me nuts.

    WHAT?! How did I not figure that out? I'm not really seeing any connection in the book that would lead me to believe bubba is Elvis. I cleary missed the hints.

    YUP! It will become clear soon. Just imagine everything he says in Elvis' voice, and it will make a lot of sense.
