Plugged duct. I am just getting over one... sucks! If you get a fever then definitely contact the doc. Otherwise, just massage and warm compress to work the plug out.

Call your OB asap! The sooner you get the meds (for mastitis), the better. As much as it hurts, continue to nurse on that side, start every feeding on that side as a mtter of fact...the nursing will help to pull it out as well.
Although if you are not starting to feel ill (fever, body ache, etc), it may be just a clogged duct...still need to nurse, massage, warm shower, etc.

Happened to me too this week. I got an antibiotic from the doctor. I also have to take a hot shower twice a day and manually express.
It's day 3 and I am starting to notice it feels better this morning!
