Am I the only one that sees something wrong with this. We can't sell twins clothes to one another? I've seen other posts that weren't removed with clothes listed. I could see if it was a vendor, but not someone selling clothes that were outgrown. Someone with 2 posts that's trying to sell NB photography sure, but WTH? Did someone actually report her or did a bump worker see the post?
Re: Really, the post is locked because someone was selling twin clothes
just an FYI- if any of you missed my post last week... there is a FB page for resale of twin/triplet clothing!
search for Moms of Multiples Resale
Thanks for the support! I'm not sure why it was locked either. No one has told me what I did wrong. I'm sure there is some terms of service violation somewhere in there though.
It's not a big deal, I just had a hard time finding preemie clothes so I thought I'd see if I could pass some of mine along.
I just think it's BS. I could see if you were making baby clothes and selling them on Etsy and your post said, hey check out my etsy page, I can make you matching clothes, but this board is so different than the others. There are certain boards that I think should get a pass for some posts (such as TTC or GP should be able to list a CBEFM or HPT's), the CD board should be able to list CD's, and a few others. I don't necessarily think that it should be a free for all, but there are many soon-to-be MoM's on here that could actually benefit from someone selling their old baby clothes, not just an annoying vendor. I think we could all see a clear difference between a MoM trying to help another soon-to-be out while making a few dollars back and someone that's trying to get business from the site. Ugh, just so frustrating.
Actually, that is the whole point of the Trash to Treasure and Swap Spot boards. To keep the sale of products off the regular boards.
If you want to change the purpose of the Swap Spot to include SALES, then petition the Bump. But do not get upset when the moderators are just doing their jobs, as proscribed by the Knot/Nest/Bump.
