I need a stash critique, please

Hi Ladies, I feel like my stash is out of control and totally unfocused and I'm not sure what (if anything) I need before baby comes. I'm warning you, it's all over the place, but any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated....

Newborn: 2 AIO, 5 Fitted, 2 Covers

Small: 3 Pocket, 4 AIO, 3 Fitted, 24 PF, 1 Cover

Medium: 3 Pocket, 4 AIO, 2 Fitted, 6 PF, 1 Cover

OS: 3 Pocket, 2 Fitted, 4 Covers

Microfiber Inserts: 9 short, 5 long

Natural Inserts: 4 short, 9 long

---

Do I need NB PFs? Do I need more sized covers? Any other thoughts??

    You definitely need NB PFs.  We had, probably something like 36 diapers total and that was good to wash every other day.  You will also need NB covers-we used thirstie duo wraps size 1 so they lasted beyond NB stage.

    Your small stage seems fine but your medium will need more.  By that time, however; you should figure out what you like so I woud wait.  I think your covers are fine-if your OS fits the small stage.

    I have no idea about your inserts-are these in addition to the pockets?  I never needed extra ones but used hemp after about two months for nighttime.

     

    And obviously everything else..pail liner, wipes, etc. etc.

    I'd stop buying anything for past the newborn phase.  Looks like you have a pretty good start to see what you like/what works for you.

    For NB diapers you will want 30-36 to do laundry every other day.  I'd focus on that.  Prefolds will definitly be the least expensive route to go...you could pick up 2 dozen and 4 more covers and be set.

    Thank you ladies so much! I'm confused about how long babies are in specifically "Newborn" sized diapers before they can move into Small. I know it's different for everyone, but is there a general rule? Will none of my small/OS stuff fit NB?

    OS and small won't fit NB.  I think it was about a month and a half before we started using Thirstie duo diapers and FB OS, the BGs took a few weeks more.

    will they? They're Osocozy Sz. 1 - will that work for NB?
