My husband talked me into telling our families tonight and now I am even more nervous. He was so excited though I couldn't tell him no.
Have any of you told your immediate family this early? Does it make you even more nervous about something happening?

With our first pregnancy, we told our parents the day we found out. Unfortunately my Dad couldn't keep his mouth shut, so everyone found out pretty quickly. We told our close friends after we saw our babies heartbeats, and then made a general announcement after our NT scan. We ended up losing our LOs at just over 13 weeks. While untelling was awful, the amount of support we got was fantastic.
This time, we are planning on telling our parents next weekend with the strict warning that they are not to tell anyone. We are going to tell a smaller group of friends after we see a heartbeat, but I am not making a general announcement until at least 14 weeks if not later.
