Jen- do you work with a firm or for yourself? Family law is something that I am interested in getting into. no KY license yet but will be able to waive in soon.

    Sorry I didn't respond sooner.  I've been offline most of the weekend.  I started out on my own, but ended up joining the firm that I was renting space from.  I prefer the family law over the criminal law that we do.  The state just passed new family law procedures in an attempt to make everything uniform county by county.  The judges are resisting a little still, but hopefully they will adapt and this will make it much easier to come in to KY and practice in the area.
