Had my first childbirth class today...

And boy did DH and I learn a lot haha!  We're taking 2 Saturday classes that last 6 hours each at the hospital that we'll be delivering at.  I'm really enjoying it.  Today we learned the pros and cons of using epidurals and inductions as well as some really good techniques for getting through labor.  We also learned some great things to put in birth plan.  If you haven't decided whether or not to do childbirth classes then I would definitely reccomend it. 

Has anyone else been through classes yet?  If so what all have you learned?

    We start our classes next month! I'm glad to hear you learned a lot. I'm hoping that we will, too. Exciting!

    I'm not taking them this time around, but with my first DD it was nice to take because all of these things I have been telling my DH... finally apparently clicked because someone else had said them! lol. I did get to tour the hospital though which was nice!

    I just signed up for them. We are taking al our classes in June. I'm glad to hear it was helpful. The classes just seem so long!
