LO sounds like she's coming down with something. She's not running a fever but is coughing a lot more than normal and it sounds more congested. She's also spitting up a lot more than normal, I'm assuming from the congestion. Any suggestions?
My DD#2 had a cold at about 2wks. I know milk/Formula doesnt help congestion, so I would give her a little bit of warm water or even a 2:1 water to gerber juice. It helped a little with the spit up/phlem. She didnt have a fever either, but it seemed to help her.
Alice had a cold at 3.5weeks. Running a humidifier/vapourizer really helped a lot. If she gets a running nose saline and the nose sucky thing help a lot. When she was really congested I took her into the bathroom, closed the door and ran the shower at the hotest setting and made our own little steam room. This really helped to keep things moving. Just make sure to strip her down so she doesn't overheat.
My MW gave me this words of advice. If she is still eating and doesn't have a really high temp you are ok. When she stops being interested in eating, get her into the docotr.
I was more stressed about her not breathing well than she was. She just slept a lot and ate a lot. Good luck!
DD had a cold at 5 wks, and her symptoms were exactly the same as what you are discribing, along with sneezing. Our GP made us go to the ER of the local children's hospital when she was running a low grade fever b/c I was GBS positive while pg, and she has a heart murmur so they were worried about a possible infection.
Just keep a thermometer on hand to check her temp if she feels warm, some baby tylenol in case she runs a fever, and get out the snot sucker, and saline spray to keep her nose clear. Otherwise there's not much you can do unfortunately, other than give lots and lots of cuddles.
Edit: And keep the humidifier running for naps and overnight to keep her nasal passages moist.

From about 7-9 weeks his nose was WAY stuffy... I had to bulb suction like 5 times a day. He never ran a fever and was able to eat. Then, it just went away. I never took him to the doctor. I think it was allergies because the pollen started getting really high here around that time.
DD has something right now. It started out as a tiny cough and has turned into a cough/congestion. We are using baby saline spray every night, turning on the humidifier and having to suck her nose several times a day. No fever as of yet though.

This is what my baby sounds like at night. It's reflux for us. I thought he was coming down with a cold too, but our pedi said it was reflux. Maybe your baby isn't getting sick...maybe she has some reflux.
