Tried the crib..

and it was a huge fail. I've came to the conclusion that Kindle likes to be tight in something. She doesn't like her PNP or crib. She squirms too much. She loves her swing and RNP, both of which sort of "snuggle" her. Any tips on what I can use in her crib to make her feel tight without the risk of suffocation?

does she swaddle? Nate likes his crib but pretty much only because he's swaddled tight (we also have been in it since day 1) When I try to put him in the PNP for a nap, he wakes right up because I don't swaddle him.

swaddle? We just got a swaddle pod from BRU yesterday and DS slept an extra hour in it last night! We are going to try his crib tonight and I'm hoping this will make the transition easier.

She doesn't like to be swaddled in her RnP, but I haven't tried swaddling in her crib. It's worth a shot.

Maybe a moses basket? It wouldn't quite snuggle her, but it would be something close around her w/o the suffocation risk.. it might help transition from close quarters to open crib? You can get a cheap one (35 bucks or so) on buy.com I think. It could have been overstock.

Mine can always get out of a blanket swaddle so we use the Halo Sleepsack +Swaddle or the Swaddleme's.

I second the Halo Sleepsack... my DS always escapes from a regular swaddle but he sleeps great in the sleepsack in his bassinet.

Have you tried the Miracle Blanket Swaddle? Our pediatrician recommend it to us and I swear it works wonders.

Do you swaddle her before you put her in the crib? We have the opposite problem in that DD will only have short power naps in her swing or bouncer b/c she's not tightly swaddled like when she's in her crib.
