Babies born big

Just checking in with those moms who had big babies ( the insurance company referred to them as "exceptionally large" on my diagnosis code) How are you an your babies doing? What are your biggest challenges or annoyances right now? How was your pp appt, just had mine and doctor seemed proud he delivered the baby I didn't think they cared!

My 10-4 baby is doing well, gaining nicely, but not as crazy off the charts as his birth, I am tired of med people asking if I had GD - for goodness sake I am 6-1 were you expecting a petite baby?!?! Lastly, although my first was large also (only 9-2) I am still annoyed that he outgrows things too early.

Lol @ "exceptionally large." DD was 8/13, but I am quite small and she wouldn't pass through my pelvis. Oh man, did I try, though. I labored for 23 hours and pushed for over 3. I shouldve known...my mom couldn't have her babies naturally either.

We're both doing so well. DD is mostly big in height. She was 22in at birth, and came in at 11/3 and 24in at her 6w appt. Pedi was happy with her growth, as are we! She's always been a very alert, strong, smiley baby. I couldn't ask for more.

Colin was 10.1 at birth, I know he's growing well because he's already wearing 3-6 month clothes and some 6month outfits. I don't have a weight on him since we don't go back to the dr till 2 months but at just over 3weeks he was 11.04 so I'm expecting 14-15# at his next appt.
