Fresh or frozen BM?

If you pump at work, do you send your freshly pumped milk the next day to day care or do you freeze it and use the oldest milk from your stash? I have been using my frozen milk but am just wondering if it would be best to use my fresh milk and keep my stash for emergency purposes. TIA

I haven't done it with dd yet, but with ds I used the oldest milk from my stash and then froze my pumped milk. I think, from reading on here during that time, that many people did not do this. I did so that I did rotated my stash. It just worked best for me.

On Mondays I send my oldest frozen milk. Tuesday-Friday I send what I pumped the day before. On Friday I freez whatever I pumped that day. That was she is getting mostly fresh milk, but I rotate my stash.

I send whatever I pumped that morning, plus older milk from my stash. What I pump through the day is frozen unless I have a meeting to cover, then I put it in the fridge for use while I'm out that night.

I do one bag frozen (5-6 oz), the rest fresh. This way it gets rotated
