I thought it would be nice for play dough, painting and snacks outside.
Do you and LO get use out of it?

Re: Do you have a toddler picnic table?
I am definitely getting one for our backyard. We have a wooden adult picnic table and we have already used it a tonne with the kids this year. It's too big for me to be comfortable having my two+my niece all up on there...so I want a toddler sized one...I want to get a big one (I like the idea of the square one) and I saw one at a second hand store but couldn't get back in time to grab it...someone beat me to it!
Edit: When I said our wooden one was too big...I meant too tall. I worry about the kids falling off of it. We use our IKEA plastic table and chairs outside right now sometimes too...but I think the picnic table would be more functional.
We have one...but Caroline is way too busy to use it. I try to get her to sit at it and finger paint, but she's not having it. It is way to much fun to go pick all the dandelions in the yard, or go point at the horses, or just wander around.
I'm hoping she'll start using it before the summer is over...maybe??
We have a Little Tykes plastic one and it gets used a lot, but she doesn't really eat at it, unless she has a friend over. Otherwise we are too big to eat at it and she eats at the big table with us.
Ours has taken a beating - it gets covered with paint and banged on and beat up when she's super busy with projects, so I don't think I'd invest a lot of money since in one, just get one you won't mind getting used and abused.
