  I used to work with Moms Best Friend in Austin as a nanny. I've heard good things about Morningside, but don't have any firsthand experience,.

  Thanks for asking this question, I'm about to begin researching nannies and was going to post something similar today.

  If you're willing to do some of the leg work yourself (background and credits checks, referrals) care.com would also be a good option. We found our nanny thru word of mouth but did find an amazing sitter through care.com

  I found out about The Motherhood Center here in Houston and actually just signed up for a nanny interview with them.  They also have a baby sitting service as well.
