Mirena users come in

Anyone else have really crazy cramping from the Mirena? Ive had it for 2 mths now and ever since I had my period a couple weeks ago...

Ive also been pretty sore around where my c section was....this didnt start until I started having sex again in the last couple weeks. I swear it feels like my uterus hurts if that makes any sense. 

I have an appt with my OB next Thursday so of course Im going to have him check these issues ok.

But really is this normal?

    My OB told me I should have cramping for about 30 minutes to a couple days, and if it lasted too much longer to call. Did they do an ultrasound to check its placement or just place it?

    . We did an ultrasound about 3 weeks after it was put in to check placement. It was fine at the time. When I had it put in the cramping didn't last more than a day. The cramps just started right before my period and then it really hasn't gone away since. This thing better be in the right place and working! I can not get pregnant right now!

    I got paraguard last month and my period is on its way and I've had really bad cramps for days! And bloat! I usually have pretty easy periods. Idk if its because its my 2nd since being PG, or the IUD, but I've read they do make your periods more painful :(

    When I had the Mirena I had the same problem as you and it was always in right. They never were able to tell me why I had such bad problems with it, but I dealt with it for almost 3 years and they were 3 awful years. Hopefully they figure out what is wrong with yours and it gets better!
