How soon RE: Bouncy Seat

My little guy is 1week old today and gets pretty fussy sometimes during the night, to the point where holding and the soother don't work. I'm wondering how soon people brought out the bouncy seats? I don't want to start it too early and it be the only thing that consoles him but I think it would help, especially when DH is up with him and needs something since he doesn't have the boob.

    N went in his bouncy at day 1....put your LO in it, hit vibrate and get something done...lol!

    We've had him in it already. He doesn't care if it's on. DH puts him by the foot of the computer and bounces it with his foot while he plays on the computer late at night. We do have a little head-prop pillow to keep him from flopping over.

    Our DD has acid reflux and our pedi recommended we put her in a bouncy seat to sleep at night. He wanted her in something with an incline so I don't see how it would hurt.

    Day 1. 

    1st pregnancy: m/c began 1/12/09 d&c 1/13/09 8wks. Baby stopped growing at about 6wks.

    Delaney: Born 10/15/09

    Gavin: Born 4/8/11

    Baby #3: due July 10, 2014

    I tried it right away but DD only wanted to be held.  She'll take her swing sometimes now and she likes her seat more.  She's only been into it for about a week.  I used to have to use the boob-i-fier and rock and pat the back every time DD was up at night...glad it's over ha ha

    The day DS got home from the hospital. This seat is the only way DS sleeps during the day, and the only way I get anything done.

    BFP # 1- DS ~ TTC #2 since Jan. 2012 - BFP # 2 - "Baby Elsie" - Blighted Ovum - D&C August 22, 2012 at 7w3d, BFP # 3 - CP - December 30, 2012, BFP # 4 - CP - March 19, 2013 ~ First RE Appt. 4/24/13 Med cycle #1: 50mg Clomid and Trigger shot = BFN. Med. Cycle #2: 6 cysts found. No meds/rest cycle. Trying on our own = BFP # 5! Beta #1 = 77, Beta #2 = 129 Beta #3 = 94 - CP - July 2, 2013. BFP # 6! Beta#1 = 21, Beta#2 =58 Beta#3 = 134. U/S shows heartbeat of 142 at 7w2d!

    H was in it the second day home from the hospital.  She doesn't love the vibrate setting, but absolutely loves being on an incline!
