Ok, I was just thinking since so many of you woman are having a REALLY hard time with m/s. I thought we might do a check-in
Just put below how many times you have had m/s (either today or this week or whatever) Thought maybe this would make some people feel better that they are not alone!
So far, for me....once...for now. I had m/s with DS from week 11 until week 18...so I'm not out of the clear just yet.
How's everyone else doing?
Re: **M/S Check-In**
Fastest year of my life.
I could have written this post exactly! It seems to be the worst for me right before dinner when I'm starving and if I'm really exhausted. I think I need to build in a mid-afternoon/early evening snack to help lol
Great idea! I was really hopeful to be part of the work-out check in, but it is all I can do to get through a day of work. Much less do anything else.
The vomit count today is 1. Number 2 is on the way, I can feel it. So far NONE of the home remedies have worked. I throw up whatever I choke down before I get out of bed. I throw up anything I eat within two or three hours of being awake. Depending on how active I have to be after that it might settle down for a few hours or it might get worse. It depends on the day. I am so desperately hoping that in a few weeks it will settle down. I will seriously cry if it doesn't.
Things I have tried to eat today: Saltines. Pedialyte.
Back to feeling sick
I started having m/s when I was 6 weeks and it hit hard! It started with all day and last week I started throwing up. Yesterday I caught a break and actually felt awesome and could eat food. Today I woke up gagging and almost throwing up. It was nice while it lasted.
With DS I had some m/s, but nothing like this! This one has me gagging while trying to drink water.. I am definitely ready for the 1st tri to be over with.
LCT - 5.15.14 ~ 9lbs, 22.5 inches
BFP - Ended in m/c - 6/15/10
BFP - Ended in m/c - 1/2/11
BFP! - 4/13/11 - grow baby grow!!
I'm nausous 24/7 and have been since week 5. I'm now in week 9 and it hasn't gotten better... only worse. The nurse was sweet enough to tell me that morning sickness peaks from weeks 9-11 (gee thanks).
I've been looking up morning sickness and genetics. My mom was sick all the way through each one of her pregnancies. If this is the case I'm not sure if I'm going to make it!
Deep breaths seem to be the only thing that keeps me from throwing up. And once I start throwing up I can't stop. I'm not getting anything done...which sucks because we're moving in about 4 weeks and I have SO MUCH packing to do.
I've tried those Sea Band things. They take the edge off but I still find myself throwing up with them on. Car rides are a nightmare. Watching tv is a nightmare. I like things still....very very still. lol.
Oh, and I've always read sleeping on your left side is best for the baby.... I can't lay on my left side without throwing up either. I have to be on my right. I think that one is a little odd.
