She bought a HUGE think of liquid formula! I have been BF for 5 months now. Yes I want to go out but pumping s working just fine. UGH! This woman, I swear!!
I would ask her where she got it so I could return it for something useful!
Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
Return it to Walmart (the seem to take back anything) and get diapers instead! But seriously, what is her deal with breastfeeding? People are so strange sometimes.
My MIL has kept her mouth shut about BFing but is not being supportive of BLW. I feel your pain. Sorry about her but I love the PP comment about donating!

Did she buy it and give it to you, or buy it for her house? Personally, I would never leave your baby alone with her. She would probably give baby formula, even if you left BM for her.
This happened to me, ony in my case it was my husband! Right before the baby was born, he said we should buy a container of formula "just in case" it doesn't work out. I thought he was joking. He was serious and went and got one. It was the first of many times where he wasn't totally on board with BFing. It's much better now, though.
C-CHARM>>>>Just have to say I LOVELOVELOVE that you're still breastfeeding,it's great to see another african american mom doing so! I see that you have a thumbsucker too! LOVE IT!
Re: MIL still is lacking support
I would be upset cause she is not respecting you and dh choices. I would get dh on board.
I just do not understand how people cannot just respect a mothers choices. seriously bothers me. good luck...
Wow. Maybe you can find an alternative use for it. Use it as a door prop or paper weight.
"oh, MIL! Thank you for getting some formula that can get donated to the women's shelter. That is so thoughtful"
