"And can it be that in a world so full and busy, the loss of one weak creature makes a void in any heart, so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of vast eternity can fill it up." - Charles Dickens
With the Greek, the formal name and 3rd person reference is "Dimitrios" (several possible spellings) but talking TO the person, you address him as Dimitri Confusing enough?
Our LO will be James but some of our Greek family (myself included) will call him Dimitri.
I love this name! I had a student who graduated last year, his name was Dimitri. I teach at a French school and have francophone students, so his name was pronounced with a French twist. Everyone called him Dim. Such a good natured, respectful teenager! (Names always make me think of past/present students)
Re: Demetri
PAL/PGAL Welcome
