I had expired potato salad once it tasted fine but once I saw the date I freaked out..someone told me not to think about it being expired and I'd be fine..So once I stopped thinking about it the sick feeling left
it didnt taste riqht at all but i swore i just bouqht them so i kept eatinq it until i was like WTF? is this expired bcuz it taste like chicken -__- and then i saw it was.
I ate a yogurt that was 3 months past expiration date. I had went to a friends house and helped myself as usual and she came out laughing her butt off saying that I was insane for eating it. I was confused and she explained that it had been there for ever. I was fine, no side effects at all.
There's not really anything you can do now... but I've eaten yogurt that had expired with no issue. As a note, the date is usually a "Sell By" date, not an "eat by" date - like with milk it's good a week beyond the "Sell By" date, so it's not as expired as you think .
If it didn't taste bad, it was probably totally fine. Expiration dates are completely voluntary and arbitrary, anyway. It's up to the manufacturers- not the FDA or anything. I say you're golden!
Re: Expired Yogurt
Yogurt has a lot of probiotics- that should help even if it is expired!
