What to do?

I am bored out of my mind! My DH is out of town working, so what should I do? Any good movies or shows come out on DVD recently?

What do yall do in the evenings?

  • If you like going to see movies, and don't mind going alone (i may be the only weirdo in that camp though) Thor was pretty good. Entertaining. Definitely worth the watch for the scenes where he has his shirt off.

I mean, it's insane how excellent his body is.

     ....sorry, my mind wandered. Wink

Other than that, I don't have any suggestions. When I'm bored and alone I end up watching game show network and crappy reality tv!

Hah I watch alot of crappy reality tv as well. If I dont figure out something to do tonight, my plan is Dateline, Primetime What Would You Do?, and 20/20

I feel so old! And I am on 21!

  • MH left this afternoon and won't be back until next Sunday.  I plan to relax as much as possible.  And clean.  I wish I had the attention span to sit through a movie...but that usually doesn't work out too well for me.  In addition to laundry tonight, I'll dot com and watch baseball.

I watched Little Fockers earlier. I don't know if you like movies like that, but I thought it was a pretty funny movie.

I thought Little Fockers was a dissapointment...it had its moments but all in all I wasnt as happy with it as I had been with the previous 2 movies.

I watched The Kings Speech the other night and thought it was a pretty good movie.  I've also heard good things about "Life as We Know It"  which is on my too watch list.  No Strings Attached is supposed to be good too.

I think the latest Narnia movie just came out. The Green Hornet. Country Strong.  Love and Other Drugs.

If you havent seen You Again...I thought it was hilarious...Love Betty White!

  • Besides bumping for a bit, I plan on calling my mother, eating some ice cream, and watching tv with my dog.  Nothing too exciting, but I know I will fall asleep by 10:30 anyway!

Hahah, I know what you mean! My husband teases me because I could watch old game shows all night- and then go to bed at 9pm. Also, for some reason I love antiques and floral print. He's convinced I'm an 80 year old in a 24 year old body!

  • Black swan is out on DVD. It was great, pretty dark, but definitely a good movie.
  • MH is out of town right now too, so today I took myself out for a pedicure and to the movies.  I saw "Water for Elephants" which was pretty good!

I also stopped by Redbox and got myself "Mao's Last Dancer" and "Country Strong" for my weekend relaxation! :)
