So I don't believe in keeping LO's cooped up in the house for months on end... and I have been taking DS out shopping since he was 3 days old. We go someplace every day (if we can) just to get out of the house.
But a couple days ago... oh man. I was standing in Walmart waiting to pay for my stuff and the checker looks at DS and says,
"Awe he's so cute! How old is he?"
"He's 2 weeks" then I get a semi disgusted look...
"Oh wow... and you're taking him out THIS early?!"
I just stopped talking to her and walked off.
Really? Do people stay locked up in their houses for months until they feel safe enough to take LO out!?
I can't stand being in the house ALL DAY... I need to get out, and DS pretty much passes out from the minute he gets in the car until we come home. So it's win win for us.
People just make me mad...

Adventures with Amelia
I've had to be out of the house to do things with DS1. He needed to be picked up from school one day and I was the only one who could do it. Part of being the second baby means you just get stuck coming along for the ride.
Whenever we've gone somewhere with a lot of people I wear him and no one really gets close enough to touch. Plus with a newly potty trained toddler I'm usually racing through the store to get in and out before the next trip to the bathroom is needed.
Haha! I'm totally stealing the Moby advice... I just figured mine out, and DS finally stopped trying to backflip out of the dang thing.
My mom told me when she visited that I was her "Go Baby" that I was out doing things with her the day she left the hospital!
But lord knows none of us probably felt like going anywhere for at least the first week... Heck I'm only on week 2 and just now feel human!
