Last night I fed LO for the last time at 12.30 and he didn't wake up until 5.50!!! He usually wakes up at about 4 hours at night to eat so I was pleased... Did your LO STTN happen gradually?
Luke goes back and forth between 7 and 8 hour stretches. He's slept well ever since we brought him home though. As soon as we stopped waking him to eat, he went 5 hours, then increased to 7 or 8 over about a two week span.
It happened gradually for us. It started out like what you described and then it just started getting longer and longer. Sometimes, we thought we "had it" and then the next night she would be up more. Now, we feed her around 8:30-9:00p.m. and she sleeps until 6:30-7:00a.m. And usually then will sleep another hour or or so after that.

He's gone 7.5h before, but he usually gives us about 6h every night. Of course that's from 7p-1a, but still.

6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)
Even from the beginning, she gave us around 4-4 1/2 hour stretches. Now she can sometimes go anywhere from 5-7 hours, which is great. I'm looking forward to actually getting her on some type of schedule...

She has been having 8-9hr stretches for the past week and a half. It's great! Except I usually get up in the middle of the night since I EP and have had a low milk supply in the beginning. I don't want it to drop again.
She suddenly slept through the night- one night she was going to bed at 10, waking at 2ish, and up again at 6am. Then one night- BAM! 10-6am! That's about her usual now, and she goes back down until 8:30 or 9am after she eats.
We have gotten a few 6 hour stretches, usually from around 9 pm to 3 am. Then she'd be up again around 6 and go back to sleep till around 8:30. Last night was not as good though, I hope she goes back to the longer stretch tonight!
one time we got a 6 hr stretch. usually we get one good 4-5hr stretch at the beginning of the night and then she needs to feed every 2-3hrs after that.

My girls will usually go from about 9pm-4am, and then will go until about 9am. A few times, we have gotten 10pm-6am which was nice. We are kind of starting a good play/nap/feed type schedule....but we are still a little inconsistent...
Livian Elizabeth and Alayna Marjorie! On their way to 3!
The longest she went was 8.5 hours, and I believe that was a fluke night because it was like 2-3 weeks ago. She generally goes 6-7 hours, but I have noticed that it's slowly increasing to about 7.5 lately (11:30-7 or so).
Last night was 11:30-7, then again from 7:30-10:30. Sleepy head!
She usually goes 6-7 hours and then wakes up for a little more food before sleeping another 4-5 hours. We bedshare... so I just latch her in sidelying and fall back asleep.

We generally get about 4 hrs but have gotten a few 5 hrs stretches. We EBF though so we probably won't get lots of long stretches for a while, he's not the best sleeper though.
DS has slept as long as 10 hours. I would say that normal is 6-8. Until he was 3 weeks old, he had his days/nights mixed up, but then he suddently started STTN. He does still wake up for a feeding in the middle of the night, but most night he sleeps through.
How come my baby is such a bad sleeper! He goes 3, maybe 4 hours. Once. The rest are 2, maybe 3 hour stretches. He used to have one 5 hour stretch but that stopped since we transitioned him to his crib 3 weeks ago.
Life is clearly not fair. Our LO is 9 weeks and the most he ever goes is 3-4 hours. Primarily it is 2 hour stretches. He goes down at 9:00pm and then is typically up at 12:00am, 2:30am, 5:00am and then I just take him downstairs to the swing because he has a wakeful period and I can never get him back down in the bedroom. I would happily take a 5 hour stretch...that would be heaven. I'm jealous of you all.
She has been going down between 8-10 and usually sleeps til 4-7. She will go back down and usually sleep til 9 - 10. I feel so lucky to have such a good sleeper. Of course, it will probably all change soon enough.
Longest was 10 hours straight, but usually averages 7-8 hours. It was gradual over the course of a week and has been consistent for the past 1 1/2 months.
DD slept 6 hours since about 3 weeks. By 6 weeks she was sleeping 7-8 hours (and once 9 hours), but then she went through a bit of a growth spurt and only slept 4-5 hours for 5 nights, but now we're back to longer sleeps and in the past 3 nights she has slept 10, 8, and 10 hours.

WOW!!! Can I just say how jealous I am!!!! Lily will go down around 10pm... then wake up between 1:30 and 2, then between 4 and 5, then around 6, then 7, then 8, then 9.... its crazy....

she slept 7 hrs last night...10:30 to 5:30 am. ate some more and then went down until 8:00am. Longest stretch ever so far. one other good night she had 6 hrs. every other night has been like clockwork...eating every 3 hrs. I really hope that last night wasn't a fluke but I never let myself hope for too much! she's a baby...going to do whatever she wants.

My LO has STTN for a while (knock on wood) and it just happened one day.
The longest stretch she had was 7:30-8 without a bottle. The longest stretch she had with just a bottle and straight back to bed was 7:30-11:30.
DS didn't sleep through the night until he was 18 months old so I am tickled pink. (again, knocking feverishly on wood. Haha.)
10 hours.
