How much did your LO weigh the day of?
How did he/she react after the shots?
Did you get all shots at once or did you have them break them up and given on different days?
I am freaking out that my LO is to small for her shots and have myself convinced that she is going to have a bad reaction from them. Her appt is at 11am tomorrow.
Re: Those whose LO's have had their 2mo Shots.....
I'm right there with you, our appt. is tomorrow too. I'm sooo nervous!
She is getting shots on three different occasions between now and six months ...
DS weighed 14lbs 7oz and got Hib, Pediarix, PCV, and oral Rotovirus. He cried for about 30 seconds, then he was smiling and giggling at the checkout desk. I took him around to visit everyone (I work in the doctor's office), and he was all grins. He took two 4 hour naps that day. The next day he was fussy and tired at daycare and with DH, but when I got home he cooed and smiled at me all evening. Friday he slept.
Overall, I'm happy with how it went.
DS just had his today, so I can't comment on the next day but he weighed 11lbs 15oz.
If it makes you feel better, my Dr said hardly any babies have reactions to these shots anymore. I'm sure your LO will be fine!!
So far today, DS has been himself... possibly a tad more sleepy, but not much!!

Went through it yesterday. DD was 11 lbs 2 oz and got 3 shots and 1 oral vaccine. She screamed like I've never heard her do before and I cried along with her, but once she calmed down she was ok. She's slept a ton since but has been fine when awake. No reaction to the vaccines, not even a slight fever.

Your fear is definitely warranted, and I don't really wish to spark any debates here, but the best advice I'd have is to tell your doctor your family history, and make an informed decision. For me personally, the positives far outweighed the negatives. In fact, where I am it's the law to have them vaccinated if you want them to attend school (other than home schooling).
DD just got hers yesterday. She was 11.5 lbs. She got one shot with 3 different vaccines in it and then one vaccine by mouth. She was suppose to get a second shot but they ran out of it so she will get it next time. She was happy when the pedi was checking her out but didnt like getting the vaccine by mouth and cried when she got the shot. She cried all the way back to the car and then stopped. When we got home she fell asleep and stayed asleep most of the day.
As if it being the law, in my state it is the law too but you are allowed a Doctors note saying your child wont be getting vaccinated and then its fine.
She was 11lbs 11oz.
She had no reaction. (DS run a fever and was sleepy the whole day but that was about it).
All the shots in one day for both DS and DD.
Seriously, it's not that bad. Yes, your heart breaks for your poor little one but it's over in a second and you can snuggle and comfort and make it all better.
Good luck!
