so now how much longer??

in 3rd Trimester
Last week at my doc appt I was 1 cm and 30%. Today when I went I was 2 cm and 50%. My doc said that she is pretty sure that LO is going to be here a lot sooner than later....but how much sooner? I have Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction and it is very difficult to get around everyday so I dont want to get my hopes up thinking she will come in the next week or so. Anyone else similar?

    Hard to tell.  I walked around with DS#1 at 2 cm and 50% effaced for almost a month before he came a few days early, but you are making progress...who knows...it's all a guessing game.  Good luck!

    Bored and lurking....

    I wanted to kill my Dr for continuously telling me it is going to be any day now, it seriously freaked me out and got my hopes up lol! I was 3cm and 80% at 31wks and lasted until 38.5wks.

    The dilation means nothing unfortunately but I did want to give you some hope about the SPD. My little guy dropped at 38 weeks, and that plus my chiropractor's help for like 8 weeks has lead to no more SPD pain at all- I can even roll over in bed at night with little pain.

    Dilation could mean something, or nothing. You could have the baby next week... Or a month from now.
