S/o exercise...

One of our Groupons or Eversave coupons or something the other day was to Stroller Fit/Mommy Boot Camp, so I bought it.  $30 for a month of unlimited classes.  I'm planning on starting on Monday and doing MWF (because those are the classes nearest to me - would cost a lot more in gas money to drive 40 minutes to be able to go to class every day).

Anyway... has anyone done these classes?  I was planning on taking the baby - it says to lay him in a fully reclined jogging stroller - do you think that's safe?  It says you can use a regular stroller with the infant carseat, but I have two problems with that - 1) it's super hot right now even at 9 am and I'm worried the baby would be uncomfortable in that much of an enclosed thing and 2) I can't find the tray for the stroller so that the carseat locks in.  DOH!  Obviously, if that's more safe, then it's what I want to do and I will have to find the tray (although I've looked everywhere already) or buy a replacement.  I have the carseat adapter for our new double stroller, but I don't think that will do me any good.

I want to get back in shape and it's a lot easier if I take the baby, but priority is to make sure it's safe and not torturous for him, ya know?

Anyone done those classes?  Thoughts?  Opinions?

  • Does the bottom of the seat lock in an upright position to make a buggie? I have a Chicco and the part of the seat hangs down where the babys calfs are folds up and locks in place so she can lay down flat and not slide out. I'm sorry this is a poor description I can't seem to describe it. If your stroller has that, could you use it that way? I've never done the classes but it sounds fun.

Does the jogging one start at nb or 6m?  As long as he is secure and within the stroller age limits, it should be ok.

I would say look for the piece for the other one, that way he can face you too and he is more secure.
