Has anyone used their pregnancy to get perks -- better parking spot, raise (if job is worried about you coming back), better service, better food, better work hours, better deals? What's the best perk you've gotten by being pregnant?

Re: Leveraging Pregnancy To Get Perks
I live in a big city, and I definitely make sure the belly is visible when I get on the subway to go to work...I do not like standing with my belly exposed on a crowded train because of people bumping/falling into me, so I'm definitely using it to guilt someone into giving up a seat for me.
So far I have a 100% success rate

Hmmm.... nothing more than getting doors opened for me more often and someone gave up a seat for me. Oh, and the pregnancy parking - love that! I even park in the "families with children" parking spot, since I am technically "with child"
ha!
People giving up their seats and helping me carry stuff are the main perks.
Oh, and not cleaning the cat litter. Huge perk right there!!!

Of course. I am only pregnant for 9 months right. Milk it while I got it. I have used it for better parking, better service (rub your belly while looking confused in home depot or lowes does the trick, better hours (i was the only person in my office who had to work in office 5 days a week; now i get to work in office 3 days a week like everyone else)
I use the pregnant/ baby spots when ever i can. I have a 2 1/2 y.o to drag around with me too. So hey! Why not. Plus when they are slightly bigger. I need all the space i can get.
My SiL and i used our bellies (she's due 5 weeks after me) to try and get her sons Dr. to push his surgery date up. (long story) The Dr. was all for doing his surgery on May 16th because of how pregnant we both were. But unfortunately the OR schedulers didn't see us so they wouldn't bend on times.
Other then that i haven't intentionally done anything. So maybe people are being extra nice because of my belly. Last night i was at Costco with DD and a friend who is even more pregnant then me and i missed the trash can to throw out my drink cup. So a lady offered to throw it out for me because there were 3-4 carts between me and bin. Which was really nice.
This!!! My husband has been cooking, cleaning, and going to the grocery store for me! I am in charge of the baby's room and mild cleaning. It's fabulous!

DH has been doing a lot of things. Doggy accident? I don't have to clean it up any more! I no longer make trips to the compost bin or do the dishes any more. All I have to do is say how bad my feet hurt from standing in the kitchen to make dinner and he sends me to bed and does all the clean up for the evening. It's really hard not to take advantage of it. I'm really trying not to abuse him and start faking it to get out of chores.
The only place I've really been abusing it is with free samples. After I get my one, I point to my belly and say "Hey! There's two of us!" That usually gets me a laugh and a second helping.
The only time I actively try to leverage it is to get a seat on the bus when I need to take it during rush hour and seats are scarce (if there are no elderly people around who need it even more than me!). At this point it would be difficult for me to stand as the bus lurches all around.
DH has taken over most of the cleaning of his own initiative, and I appreciate that even though I haven't asked him to do so.
I've occasionally had someone throw free food or a larger size "for the baby" when I go to pick up a food order, which has been unexpected but nice.
