DS's big boy fire truck room is pretty much done with the exception of the quilt that my aunt is making. It still has to be quilted. I'm happy with the room and it turned out pretty much exactly like I envisioned. Oh, and looking at the picture of the shelves makes me laugh because they are up so high...obviously so DS can't reach up to them and pull things down. When he's over the newness and is a tad older I'll move them down a bit so they look normal.

It's really nice, but I don't see the connection to a firetruck. The red seems too dark, and I only notice the words hero.

Well I didn't want it to be super cheesy, bright red fire truck as I want him to be able to grow with the room. The room has been accented with fire truck/fireman things on the shelves. There is a fire hydrant, firemans boot, a vintage fire truck, a firemans hat, and a photo frame with a fire hose on it. Also, the sign above his closet says, "Real Heros Dont Wear Capes" And things aren't as dark IRL as they appear in the photos.
