I need present ideas

What's a must-have thing for my lo who's turning one in a few months? He's got plenty, and I don't plan to get him 50 gifts, but right now I'm clueless. My mom is getting him his own chair from pbk per my request, but now I have nothing to get him. Suggestions?

    he loves it.  And knows 2 of the 4 letters in his name.  It took about a month to get but that was at Christmas time.

    Maybe an outside toy since its getting to be nicer weather, like a water table or blow-up swimming pool? 

    When ds turned one, part of one of his presents was a pinwheel that was about 25 cents. He LOVED it more than anything else he got. I think I might do them as favors for dd's party too.

    We plan on getting outside toys for our LO's.  We have enough inside stuff.

    Another great idea! I'll put this on the list also. Add some tiny garden tools and I think we are good to go.

    We did a zoo membership as her main present for the 1st birthday.  We figured she was going to get plenty of toys from family and friends, so we thought something that was more of a family experience would be fun.  She loves the zoo!  You could also do the aquarium, a kid's museum, etc.
