I am procrastinating. So can you help me find a few good books for me, not the kids. H got a borders gift card for me so I can buy a book or two for my ereader for next week's vacation, but I am just not sure what to buy. Any recommendations?

Someone at work is reading that book...sounds really interesting!
One of my patients was telling me about it, and it gave me chills to hear her talk about it. I'd never heard of it before that.

I second Emily Giffin, love love love her books.
If you're interested in something religious, I'm a big fan of Max Lucado- specifically Fearless.
The Hunger Games is a little out there but you will be hooked for sure, it's young adult so an easy read.
That's all I can think of for now!
Jodi Picoult has a new book I really enjoyed.
If you haven't read The Hunger Games series, they are easy and addicting. I read most of one by the pool on our last vacation. They're great for that.
On our beach trip, I am hoping to read the new Sookie Stackhouse book. I'm falling out of love with that series, but I really enjoyed reading the first few. They are total fluff and good beach reads.

I have to second this. The earlier ones were better, but they are a great way to waste an afternoon. I got the last one as my Mother's Day present to me.

I agree, Hunger Games is definitely a great series, my husband and I read them while we were in Jamaica. Good beach read.
Third Emily Giffin's books -
I also HIGHLY recommend The Help if you have not read yet.
