Target Fail

I called Target today to see why my registry coupon hasn't arrived and it did not go as well as it did for PP last week.

First the rep tells me that the coupons were sent to me 4 weeks ago, then he tells me that I was not signed up to receive the coupons. (well which is it?) Then he says "no problem I will sign you up for the coupon and I just need to make some changes to your registry." He said he had to change my due date so the system would send out the coupons again. So I tell him thats great go for it. Once he is done he says that the coupon will now be sent to me 2 weeks AFTER my EDD. So I will not been be sent the coupons until after my LO is here. I guess I will still be able to use the coupon on diapers, but I was hoping to use it to get our car seat base and random items we still need. Boo!

  • How anoying!!!! Maybe an in-store rep can figure it out better? That is annoying! We registered at Target just for the coupon!

  • I had a similar issue and the store employee had me contact Customer Relations, who took care of it and I was able to get my discount in-store that same day.  Do you want me to find the phone #?

    Thanks for the offer but customer relations was who I spoke to. I guess it just depends on who answers the phone. I created a new registry with a later date. My old registry had an early EDD so I got the coupon sooner...that obviously didn't work, lol. Hopefully I will get that coupon 4 weeks prior to the EDD like I should (which would be next week.) If not I will call back and make a fuss.

    Hehe, when the person who answered couldn't help me, I asked for a manager and she did it no problem :)  Just a thought in case you don't get the coupon sooner.  Good luck!
