Re: Going to Florida when my son will be 13 months, what do I need?
What kinda of water will you be in? We do crocs for the splash park, but nothing for the beach or pool. For a boy I'd do swim suit and rash guard shirt. Lots of sunscreen. DD won't keep glasses on, but you can try.
When you're packing some toys, pack the stacking cups, they double as pool toys quite well.

*please excuse my typos, bumping from my iphone*
we went to the dollar store when we went on vacation and bought water / beach toys there so that we didn't have to pack them.
We went to Flordia in August when DS was 3 months old. I got a little squarish battery operated fan from walmart that I could set up in the snack tray of his stroller and turn on when he was napping by the pool, etc. We also got one of those squirt bottle fans to help keep him cool.
I also put DS in swin shorts and a rash guard as well as a wide brimmed hat. Don't forget the sunscreen!
