Okay, surgery went well, they retrieved four eggs. Here's where it gets hairy.
Only two were mature, the other weren't. They ICSI'd two eggs, and are waiting to see if the other two mature overnight so they can be ICSI'd tomorrow. My normally positive to a fault RE asked me today if I wanted to freeze the embyos and cycle again so we would have some good ones. Actually, he said he would call me again tomorrow, but if only one of those eggs fertilized normally, we would only have one.
Part of me thinks I just need to wait until tomorrow, that the news will get better, but the other part of me is now worried that we might really only have one.
I was tired, I was ready to walk away after this one, no matter what happened, and move on with my life. Plus the costs involved, especially since my husband is still unemployed. At the minimum, we would be looking at another $2K to cycle again, not to mention the $540 a month to continue COBRA. Obviously, that's a great price, but not really when you're not so financially stable. My RE also threw the max drugs at me he thought he could, and obviously didn't get a better response than last time around. So how could I expect a better outcome next time?
I don't know what to do. I want my life back.

Ok dumb question - if you froze them, would you cycle again and make new ones or you would use these embryos that you have just created (not sure if thats the right terminology) OR would you go through another ER and save the frozen ones?
Thinking of you..
