EFFer vibes/thoughts/prayers needed

This blog is written by the wife of one of my H's soldiers that he worked closely with during his deployment and time afterward. His son, Colin, is special needs and some of his trials are chronicled in the blog. He is in public school here because his dad is in the Army and his mom stays at home with all the kids, so they don't make much money. He is on an IEP but the school system he is in is doing a terrible job accomodating him, they have admitted they cannot appropriately accomodate him and said they could send him to this private boarding school here in the state. They checked out the school and said it was horrible, kids running wild, punishment of the kids included things like spankings, etc...so not a place they want their son. So they are entering in a legal battle with the school district for appropriate schooling for Colin and they are finding that to get a good attorney who can help them win (someone who specializes in these types of cases) is going to cost them more money than they have. Here is a link to their FB fundraiser page if you want to help out, if not Please just put them in your thoughts, prayers and take a minute to read the blog and their FB page for Colin.

  • They're in my thoughts and prayers. I follow this blog and the writer may be able to give them advice. She constantly fights for her daughter Alex who has down syndrome.
