Moving to Alton

Hi Ladies!!  We are relocating, from Indy, to Alton, ILL this week (Wednesday actually).  Hubby got a job over here, moving us much much closer to family.  We have a 23 month old son who is Autistic and we are looking for play groups/ play dates, family doctor, pediatrician, orthopedic doc, developmental pediatricians, etc., along with any speech therapists, occupational therapists or physical therapists you could recommend.  Also, is the CG or BJC system better and more well equipped for special kiddos?  Any advice, information, etc that you could give would be WONDERFUL.

    Hi there! Just wanted to say welcome to Alton! I live in Godfrey so I'm really close  by. I don't know of any developmental pediatricians or specialists but I take my 5mo son to Dr. Lindsey Kelly at Alton MultiSpecialist. I really like her. She might be able to refer you to someone? I have also heard that David Harmon in Jerseyville is a really good family doctor but I've never met him so i don't know first hand. My family doctor is over in STL since I work over there. If you have any other questions about Alton or just wanna chat- feel free to PM me.
