I got my first biopsy today

I've never had one done before, just no need.  I got one today on the leg lump I posted about earlier.  They totally numbed it and punched out a piece of skin.  Totally weird and cool to watch especially with zero sensation.  

The PA didn't give me an indication of what it was, just that whatever it was was under the skin...so maybe that bodes well for me, that it is more likely to be a cyst vs. cancer?  I really don't know.  

I hate waiting and it will be 2 weeks before they call with results (if they're bad).  If it doesn't find anything I'll get a letter in 3 weeks.  I will probably call in 2 though since it's so hard to wait that extra time.

    My mom had a lump under her skin where the top layer of skin, the layer that grows, some how got punched below the surface and kept growing? Totally weird.

    Weird!  I hope it's that simple.  Really I hope they'll be able to give me an answer...

    Good luck! The wait is definitely one of the worst parts.
