Seriously, it disturbs me...I couldn't help myself from posting when I am reading sh*t about chemical burns that make a kid BLEED....BLEEEEEEEEEEED.....<disturbed>
maybe we can get enough of us posting there...

Re: holy sh*t - pampers board
I don't quite know what the point of this post is.
To remind us all how lucky we are that the diapers we put on our kids don't make their skin rupture and their insides come outside?
Yes, yes. It's seriously disturbing when someone is putting diapers on their kids that are making them bleed. Ick.
I love you, Yoda.
Me too...well said!
It's one thing for her to post it here but if the OP plans on going over there and and saying the above, I would be annoyed if I used disposables. It would be like natural birthers going to a csection board or Bfers going to a formula feeding board. There really isn't a point except to channel your inner sanctimmomy.
When a mom buys diapers believing they DON'T have drymax in them, then her kiddo gets a chemical burn because they DO have drymax in them...I don't see how telling her to try cloth diapers is channeling 'sanctimmomy'. I have many well-meaning, nice, educated friends who just honestly had no idea what modern cloth diapers were like. Why would I not tell them about an option that would prevent their kid from BLEEDING? Do you really think every mom realizes that not all boxes of pampers that use dry max are labeled as such?
If I unknowingly did something that caused my child suffering, I would want another mommy to tell me about another option. Skeevy packaging/marketing practices make this necessary. I don't judge the mom. I judge the product.

Well I do judge a mom that keeps using diapers on their child that makes them bleed. They are harming their child and those descriptions are horrifying. They don't even call them rashes, they call them burns.
But I don't judge a mom for using disposables instead of cloth. If pampers makes their kid's bleed and burn then perhaps they should switch brands.
Well, you specificially said OP, so I feel like I get to respond:
1) I didn't link to her post nor say anything to judge the MOTHER. I judged the brand.
2) In her post, I mentioned it may be the brand. I didn't say you had to give up all sposies. Um, hello, I use sposies sometimes (not pampers, but still). So, I really don't think I'm up on a high horse, here. We used sposies for the first month, including Pampers. However, now I will never buy Pampers again.

We all judge other mothers! However, I think in most cases I try not to make my posts to moms that use sposies full-time too judgmental, as I actually want to convert people...not just be a biotch.
edited for clarification

I totally agree with this. "You catch more flies with honey..."
Inside I'm still all Judgy McJudgerson though.
Ha ha. I am getting less judgy as my baby gets older, I think.
I used to judge the crap out of people who let their young kids watch TV but now Lucy gets 10 minutes of Elmo in the morning because it's the only way I can get dressed without the house burning down.
This is fine. But it is not uncommon for people to comment about how "the only channel on the TV at my house is Noggin". Not. The. Same.
I think we all judge. I'm not saying I don't judge. But it would be like going to the AP board and advocating crying it out or any of the other boards I listed.
The pamper board is their board just like here we talk CD's./ I think if you actively seek them out and act superior about your choices then it is sanctimommy.
The board is sponsored by Pampers. That's why I feel it is different. If there was a formula board sponsored by Brand X, and Brand X had a recall...and not all mamas knew about it...I'd sure as h3ll go over there and say something. No problemo.
