Tonight, after cleaning up the aftermath of Iris's first spaghetti dinner, I muttered under my breath, "This shizz is crazy."

I lost it when Nora replied back after overhearing me, "Look over hear Mama, I made some crazy sh*t too!"

Totally dying at this point, she drove the point home with, "Seriously, I made a freaking mess!"

So appreciative my little lady saves her potty mouth only for rare occasions at home. I guess I can use the real words around her now.

thank god Ben hasn't caught on to this trend. One of my friends has a 3 year old who's teacher heard her saying "this place is a frickin mess" while sweeping the front stoop. Hilar.

Oh kids! When Mia was about 3 we were walking to the car and it was the first really sunny day in the winter I said to her, "Isn't it beautiful out here?" She replied, "Yeah, but it's freakin cold." ...One of many of my mother of the year award winning moments.

Yeah, the other day I was tickling Audrey and teasing her. She responded with, "Shut up, Mommy!" in a playful tone. At the time, I blamed the teen helpers at daycare. Then tonight, my husband said something stupid to which I replied "Shut up!" Not missing a beat, Audrey responded with, "Yeah, shut up Daddy! Be quiet!"

I guess that I can stop wondering where she picked this up from:)

Just this morning, I picked up Tyler and tried to grab all the stuff we needed before taking him to school today. Grabbed his lunch bag, some stuff for the dry cleaner, Tyler's cup, etc. Justin was taking a book and his stuffed kitty and some snacks. He said, "Mommy, help! I can't carry all this frigging stuff!"

I didn't realize I used that word as often as I obviously do till just this morning Embarrassed
