Confession: I'm crying watching this. I love that he was the weird, picked on kid and that he's come on here and gotten so far and shown how much talent he has. THAT'S why I like AI.

I think James is totally going to be this season's Daughtry. He labels himself as metal, but if there's anything he's proved, it's that he's actually very versatile.

I know I say this every week, but Scotty freaks me out. I close my eyes and hear a 50 year old, and open them and the kid is like 12, oh and I HATE the way he holds a microphone. It's not a flute for fvcks sake.

FWIW, I don't think he sounds like Adam Lambert at all.

Adam Lambert was already a showman. He was already fairly well known in the LA theater circuit. I always like it better when the AI successes came from 'nowhere' and have their lives changed by the talent they are able to showcase on the show.

It's why I like SYTYCD too. Smile But I'm a total softhearted sap. LOL

I hear Adam-like notes, but he is his own individual, and I love his voice and his story!

I don't think James is like Adam at all except in the sense that they both could be real stars. Real front men for great bands, like a Mick, Steven, etc.

While I like Haley, these other people (with the exception of Pia) will be just like all the other AI winners. With the exception of Carrie, I would not buy a single album from one of the past winners. I don't like country music, but I liked Carrie. And, Lauren and Scotty are just not that great. They are good but not great.

I was shocked that Lauren didn't go home. She is so generic to me. I feel like I could go to any high school show choir performance and see her over and over again. But I've been bummed every since Naima went home...

Dancing with the Stars is stupid. I love SYTYCD! And on a side note, I Love, love The Voice. Rooting thus far for Vicci the winner from the duel on Cee-Lo's team.

Last night America definitely got it wrong. James should have won. Haley sucks. She screamed the whole show Wednesday and Scotty is a creepy one trick pony. Nothing unique aboiut him. Lauren I do however like and think now that she should win. She is good. But seriously this year has sucked with the voting. AI needs to change their policys on voting!

Yep, this. Haley, while she has a very good, unique voice, was a straight up whiney biitch on Wednesday! I'm glad its going to be cold and rainy for her coming home concert at the race track on Saturday (I live 20 minutes from where she is from)!

I know I am in the minority about liking Scotty though! I just think that out of the 4 of them, he will probably have the most successful career. I fear Lauren will be a low-rent Carrie underwood - she is just too young and immature at this point. I think James should do what Chris Daughtry did - form his own band, because I think he would be amazing as a lead singer for a rock/metal band!

I didn't watch it this week. I truly, truly don't care about any of the 4 people who are left. Based on previous weeks, I think Scotty should've been the next one gone, but I've hated him from the start. Of the ones left, I think Haley should win, but I've also hated Lauren from the start. So I guess I'm biased.

As far as past Idol winners, I have David Cook's album - did he win, though? I don't remember if it was him or that little twerp that wound up winning that season. I hated the little twerp, and where is he now? So David Cook won, as far as I'm concerned. I really like his album. And I have a few songs by Daughtry - I know he didn't win, but he should've - who wound up winning his season? I think I stopped watching whenever he went home.

I won't buy albums by anyone from this season, either.

I agree, she was bitchy, but at the same time Randy was being an ass. I understand constructive criticism but when he said it was a tie between James, Scotty and Lauren i was like DAMN RANDY!!!

and for the record... i LOVE Scotty also

But hey, maybe this will be better for James. Maybe he can get an even better record contract with ppl who specialize in his style music.
